Why domestid

What Families Find Useful

Each programme is shaped around the actual pace of household life in Malaysia — not a generic template imported from elsewhere.

Seasonal Pacing

Conversations are spaced across the year so they feel natural rather than rushed — aligned with school terms, festivals, and the quiet months.

Organised Records

Households leave each session with labelled, up-to-date folders that everyone in the family can find and use without hunting for paperwork.

Whole-Household Focus

Sessions are designed for the household together, not for one person to manage alone — so shared decisions stay shared.

Educational Format

Everything is structured around frameworks and prompt sheets — tools you keep after each session so the rhythm can continue independently.

Rooted in Malaysia

Content draws on Malaysian household patterns — multi-generational living, bilingual households, and the local calendar of school and public holidays.

Clear Boundaries

domestid does not provide legal, financial, or medical advice. Sessions are organisational and educational — families know exactly what they are engaging with.

Common Questions
Who are these programmes intended for?

domestid's programmes are for families in Malaysia who want a calmer, more deliberate approach to household conversations and document keeping. They suit multi-generational households, couples, and families with school-going children — anyone who notices that important household topics tend to get deferred season after season.

What happens in a session — and where does it take place?

Sessions are facilitated conversations guided by prompt sheets and organisational frameworks. They take place at our Kuala Lumpur office in Menara HLA. The facilitator guides the household through the agenda for that session; all decisions and conversations belong to the family. Sessions are not recorded. Nothing from a session is shared outside the household without consent.

Is this a counselling or legal service?

No. domestid's programmes are educational and organisational. Facilitators do not interpret individual legal or financial situations, do not provide professional counsel of any kind, and do not represent any household in any external matter. Families seeking legal, financial, or medical advice should consult qualified professionals in those fields.

How long does each programme run?

The Workshop is a single three-hour session. The Quarterly Records Programme runs across one full year with four sessions — one per quarter. The Annual Almanac Programme also runs a full year, with an opening session, four quarterly facilitated conversations, and a closing annual review, totalling six sessions.

What do families receive after completing a programme?

Workshop participants leave with a printed seasonal-conversation prompt sheet. Records Programme participants receive a labelled household records folder and a written family timeline. Annual Almanac Programme participants receive all of the above plus the materials from each quarterly session and a closing annual almanac document summarising the year's conversations.

How do I enrol or find out more?

Send us an enquiry using the form on this page or contact us directly by phone or email. We will arrange a brief introductory call to understand your household's situation and suggest which programme fits the season you are in. There is no obligation to enrol after that conversation.
